Welcome . . . . . . . .

The
Country Club at Silver Springs Shores open in 1969. The clubhouse measures
19,000 sq. ft. and has numerous amenities for its' players: a large main
hall for golf functions and banquets, a full service restaurant/bar for
every golfers needs, complete locker room facilities and golf shop stocked
with the latest in golf equipment. The golf course itself was designed by
longtime Jack Nicklaus associate,
Desmond Muirhead, who is most well known
for his work on Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio, home of Jack's Memorial
Tournaments.
Over the years, the course has hosted many mini tour and US Open Sectional
qualifying events. Most notably, Hooters Tour wins by PGA Tour players
Zach Johnson and Chad Campbell. Known over the years as having the areas
fastest and most severe greens, The course also offers two very distinctly
different nines. The opening nine gives the feeling of a traditional
parkland course with large native trees and wide open landing areas. The
finishing nine gives the player a true Florida golf experience with water
in play on six of the holes. Together, the two nines complete a truly
challenging golf experience.
